Families in Solihull can travel thousands of years back in time this week as Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition continues at the NEC.
The experience, which is running at Hall 11 of the NEC Campus, brings Ancient Egypt to life using large-scale projections, digital displays and virtual reality.
Visitors can explore the story of the famous pharaoh and the discovery of his tomb while moving through a series of immersive rooms.
The experience includes an 85-minute-plus journey through Ancient Egypt, although visitors can decide how long they spend inside. Entry is booked in 15-minute arrival slots.
There are also Egyptian-themed activities included with tickets during August, including the chance to write your name in hieroglyphs and make your own pharaoh crown.
The exhibition is suitable for all ages, although anyone aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult. The organisers recommend the VR and Metaverse experience for children aged five and over. Children aged three and under can enter for free.
The exhibition is open throughout this week, with sessions available from Tuesday 25 August onwards. It will remain at the NEC until Sunday 13 September, giving families plenty of opportunities to visit before it leaves the area.
Tickets start from £22 for adults, while children's tickets start from £15.50. Family bundles start from £16.50 per ticket, with a £2 booking fee added at checkout.
